Barberly: Walk-in Queue is a free app for Apple TV (tvOS 15.1 and later) and Google TV or Android TV (Android 7 and later). It shows the queue screen or the appointment board and keeps the TV on it.
Set the TV password#
- In the portal or the Barberly business app, open AppsWalk-in queue and kioskTV app.
- Set a password of 4 to 8 digits, or generate one.
There is one TV password per shop. Changing it signs out every TV; they ask for the new password at the next launch.
Install and sign in#
- On the TV, search for "Barberly" in the App Store or Google Play and install Barberly: Walk-in Queue.
- Open the app and enter your shop name, the first part of your
barberly.storeaddress, and the TV password. - Pick the location and the screen: the queue screen or the appointment board.
The app stays on that screen and keeps the TV awake. After a restart it opens the same screen again. Press MENU (Back) on the remote to return to the setup and pick another screen.
The sign-in page is in the TV's own language and can be switched. Its QR code opens barberly.com/tv, for people who do not have a Barberly account yet.
Good to know#
- Each TV picks its own location and screen, so one TV can show the queue and another the board.
- The app uses the same colours, type and texts as the kiosk, from the same settings.
- The app is display only: there is no check-in on the TV.
