You need editing access to your Squarespace website and at least one booking widget created in Barberly. The widget goes on the page through a Squarespace Code Block.
Copy the widget code#
- Log in to your Barberly account at portal.barberly.com.
- Go to MenuAppsAll Widgets.
- Select the widget you want to use and copy its integration code.
Add the widget to a Squarespace page#
- Log in to Squarespace and open the page editor.
- Click the + icon where you want the booking widget.
- Search for Code in the list of blocks and select it.
- Click the </> Code option.
- Paste your Barberly widget code into the code editor.
- Click Apply.
- Save and publish the page.
Use Squarespace's device preview to check the widget on mobile, and try the booking flow on both desktop and mobile.
Troubleshooting#
- Widget not displaying
- Make sure your Squarespace template allows custom code. Some templates restrict it.
- Widget looks wrong in preview
- Some embedded elements do not display correctly in preview mode. Check the published site.
Updating the widget#
Changes you make to the widget in Barberly, such as colors, text or styles, appear on your Squarespace site automatically. The code stays the same, so there is nothing to change in Squarespace.
